Employment
Established Creative Expressions, 1985 to Present
- In 1985, established an interior design firm
specializing in the space planning, design and specification of open
office systems furniture using computer aided drafting. Our services are
provided to furniture dealerships, local and federal governments, military
installations, architectural and corporate firms.
- Highly experienced with executing and managing
projects using AutoCAD and CAP Studio systems furniture
software.
- Responsible for supervising and coordination of
design projects performed by staff designers and project managers. Project
coordination may include working with furniture sales representatives,
furniture installers, electrical and telecommunications contractors,
in-house personnel, project managers, interior designers, architects,
electrical engineers and general construction contractors.
- Responsible for meeting with clients to
determine project scope, prepare design proposals and budget estimates.
- Responsible for scheduling, supervising or
directing all interior projects and furniture installations.
- Supervise staff designers in the preparation of
interior finishes and furniture presentation boards.
- Supervise and execute space planning, design and
specification of systems and conventional office furniture using cad
software designed specifically for the furniture industry.
- Specially trained and maintain continuous
experience providing design and specification of all Knoll product lines for 18 years,
experienced with Herman Miller, Kimball, and
other major manufacturers.
